1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Lukáš Hrubiško, Dopravná 10, 831 06 Bratislava, Slovensko (company ID 51070405) ("we", "us"), the operator of Oreadia at oreadia.com, handles your personal information. Contact: info@oreadia.com.

We are established in the European Union. Our processing of personal information is therefore governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which gives you the rights described below wherever you live. We also respect the rights that US state privacy laws give their residents.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details: your name (or nickname) and e-mail address.
  • Order content: the question you ask and the reading we deliver, and optionally your date and time of birth if you provide them.
  • Order and payment details: the packages you bought, the amount and the payment status. Your card details are handled only by our payment provider; we never receive them.
  • Communications: messages to customer support, refund requests and reviews.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser (user agent), request logs needed to run and secure the website, and – only with your consent – analytics cookies and identifiers.

3. How we use your information

  1. To provide the Service: process your order, create and deliver your reading, and provide customer support (necessary to perform our contract with you).
  2. To meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax record-keeping.
  3. For our legitimate interests: keeping the Service secure, preventing fraud, defending legal claims, measuring the effectiveness of our advertising, and sending existing customers occasional e-mails about similar services, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  4. With your consent: optional analytics and marketing cookies, and publishing a review under the name you choose. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service:

  • Payment processing: Stripe.
  • Reading generation: OpenAI. We send the text of your question and the details needed for the reading; we do not send your name or e-mail address.
  • Hosting and e-mail delivery providers.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Advertising measurement: when you complete a purchase we send Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) a purchase event with the order value, a hashed (encrypted one-way) version of your e-mail address, your IP address and browser information, so we can measure which ads lead to purchases. We never share your question or your reading for this purpose.
  • Professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) and authorities where required by law.

Our service providers process information on our instructions and under data processing agreements.

5. Advertising and your choices

Under some US state privacy laws, sharing purchase information with advertising platforms for ad measurement or targeting may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out at any time by e-mailing info@oreadia.com with the subject "Do not share my information". We will then stop sending your purchases to advertising platforms.

6. International transfers

We are based in Slovakia and our systems are hosted in the European Union. Some of our service providers (for example OpenAI, Google, Meta and Stripe) process information in the United States or other countries. Where information is transferred out of the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep information

  • Orders, including your question and reading: for as long as needed to provide the Service and then as long as required by accounting law (accounting records for 10 years).
  • Customer support communications: usually 2 years after the request is closed.
  • Security logs: usually 90 days.
  • Information processed on the basis of consent: until you withdraw your consent.

8. Cookies

  • Essential cookies keep the website working (session, language, checkout). They are set without consent.
  • Optional analytics and marketing cookies are set only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals; please use the cookie settings instead.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:

  • to know what personal information we hold about you and to receive a copy of it,
  • to correct inaccurate information,
  • to have your information deleted, unless we must keep it by law,
  • to restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing,
  • to receive your information in a portable format,
  • to opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising (see section 5),
  • to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing,
  • not to be treated differently for exercising your rights.

To exercise your rights, e-mail info@oreadia.com from the address you used for your order. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days. If we decline your request, you may ask us to reconsider it by replying to our answer.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with our supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovakia, https://dataprotection.gov.sk. Residents of US states may also contact their state attorney general.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures – including encryption in transit, access controls, logging and backups – to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

11. Children

The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Marketing e-mails

Every marketing e-mail contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by e-mailing info@oreadia.com. We will continue to send e-mails about your orders, such as your reading and receipts.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will publish the new version on this page with its effective date. For significant changes, we will let customers know by e-mail.
